Format
- Hearthstone Battlegrounds (Solos)
- 8 players per lobby
- Group stage/qualifiers are played Friday–Saturday
- The final is played on Sunday
Players will play multiple lobbies during the event and collect points based on placement.
Each lobby takes about 30 minutes.
Tournament Structure
The format adapts to the number of participants:
With larger participant numbers (32 players)
The tournament can be played in a classic knockout format with:
- Quarter-final
- Semifinal
- Finale
With a smaller number of participants
Instead, a points-based format is used where:
- All participants play multiple lobbies
- Lobby groups are rotated between rounds
- Players will face various opponents during the event
- The top-ranked players will go through to the final
For an odd number, lobbies can be played with a non-full number of players.
Lobby management
Before each lobby, one player is appointed as “captain” and is responsible for inviting the other participants.
The players share BattleTags with each other and find their opponents via Discord.
It is optional to join the voice channel during gameplay, but the format encourages social interaction between participants.
Scoring system
Points are awarded based on final placings in each lobby.
| Location | Points |
| 1st | 10 |
| 2nd | 8 |
| 3rd | 6 |
| 4th | 5 |
| 5th | 4 |
| 6th | 3 |
| 7th | 2 |
| 8th | 1 |
If multiple players are eliminated at the same time, the points are divided between the placings.
Example:
If two players are eliminated simultaneously in 4th and 5th place, both receive 4.5 points.
In the event of equal total points, the ranking is decided first by the most top placings (1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.), and thereafter by head-to-head results in matches where players have played against each other.
Rules and fair play
The tournament is intended as an amateur tournament with prize money and a focus on a fun and social competitive experience.
Tools such as the Hearthstone Deck Tracker and Firestone are permitted.
Ghosting and coaching during matches are not permitted, even though the format is fundamentally based on fair play and a sense of community rather than strict administration.
If players disconnect, they may reconnect if possible, but if turns are missed or reconnection is not possible, players will not be compensated retrospectively.
Prize pool
