At last, we can reveal that cosplay is making a comeback at Glitched 2026!
Cosplay has always been an important part of our community, and this year we're taking it back to basics – more open and inclusive than ever.
We want as many people as possible to be able to be part of the cosplay experience, regardless of experience. That's why we're focusing on a broad and open concept where creativity, community, and gaming culture are at the centre.
Lectures
Many people wonder how to actually get started with cosplay – which associations exist, how different materials can be used, and what it actually costs to build a cosplay.
On our panel stage in Hall B, we will be holding Lectures with experienced cosplayers and experts in the area.
They share their personal journeys into the world of cosplay, talk about how communities work and how they can support you along the way, and provide concrete tips on how you can take your first steps into cosplay yourself – regardless of your experience level.
Workshop
Curious about cosplay but unsure where to start? Or are you looking for ideas for your next project?
We will also arrange Workshops where you get the chance to try creating your own cosplay!
In the workshops, you'll receive guidance, practical tips, and help along the way, enabling you to try out different techniques and materials in an inspiring environment.
Our goal is that you leave the workshop with new knowledge, plenty of inspiration, and ideas on how you can get started with your first cosplay – or take your next cosplay to the next level.
Cosplay for Everyone
Everyone can create their own cosplay – and we want to highlight that!
Therefore, we are arranging a Cosplay show on Mainstage in Hall D, where anyone who wants to can take to the stage and show off their cosplay to visitors at Glitched!
We invite you to a welcoming and inspiring show where community, creativity and cosplay joy are the focus. Whether it's your very first cosplay or if you have many costumes behind you, you are warmly welcome to participate!
