New initiative for trading card games on Glitched

Ahead of Glitched 2026, one of the festival’s biggest new features is being introduced: the Glitched Card Festival. A new area dedicated entirely to card games, with a focus on Pokémon.

The venture is being undertaken together with players from the TCG community, with PokeTalk and RareFinds helping to establish the area from the ground up.

This marks a significant step forward for the festival, with a rapidly growing segment of gaming culture now taking its own place at Glitched in Hall B.

Early access tickets for the Glitched Card Festival go on sale at 6 pm on Wednesday 6 May. During the first hour of each day, we will only admit those who have a standard day pass and an early access ticket to the venue.

You can find more information on our Glitched Card Festival page, https://glitched.se/cardfestival/

Card games are making their mark on Glitched and moving from niche to mainstream

Interest in collectible card games has increased sharply in recent years, exploding in Sweden over the past year. What was previously a niche has today become a broad and global culture, where both classic and new titles feature.

Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering and Yu-Gi-Oh continue to engage large communities, while new games like Lorcana and One Piece attract a new generation of players and collectors.

– “We are seeing a clear shift where more people want to experience card games together, not just online. There is a need for really big collector card festivals.”, says Christoffer Melin from Glitched.

Three parts make up the Card Festival

The Glitched Card Festival is organised around three areas

Market & Exhibitors

Here you’ll find the very latest releases, as well as the chance to add that card you’ve been searching for for so long to your collection. We’ll have well-known exhibitors and shops on site, including Poketalks, Rarefinds and Cardlevels. If you’re an exhibitor, shop or private individual selling or swapping cards, you can apply to exhibit at the Glitched Card Festival HERE.

Community Trade Zone

A marketplace where visitors can trade cards, play games and meet others. Glitched aims to help create safe and fair trading to ensure nothing goes wrong, especially for all new collectors buying their first cards on Glitched.

Card Festival Stage

A scene in the area where live pack openings and creator collaborations generate content and audience interaction.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to take to the stage themselves and open presents live. We'll capture your reaction as you pull your next banger.

Built together with the community

The Glitched Card Festival is being organised in collaboration with PokeTalk and RareFinds, two established players in the Swedish TCG scene.

– “For us, it’s about creating a place where the community can actually meet in person. Glitched gives us the chance to take what we do online and build something bigger together with thousands of others in person”, says Vaso from PokeTalk.

Through this collaboration, experience from the community, trade, and event production are combined with the goal of creating something that will last over time: Sweden's most awesome card game festival.

Building on a strong platform

Glitched has already established itself as a platform where communities come together and thrive. In its first year, the festival attracted over 15,000 visitors.

The Card Festival is a natural next step in the development of Glitched

– “When we build together with the community, something truly relevant is created. That's the direction we're continuing in.”, says Anton Johansson of Glitched.

A long-term commitment

The Glitched Card Festival is not a one-off event, but a long-term initiative aimed at establishing one of the Nordic region’s leading hubs for TCG.

The area will be developed over time, in close collaboration with partners and the community.

Premiere at Glitched 2026

The Glitched Card Festival will make its debut on 12–15 June 2026 at Elmia in Jönköping, as an integral part of the festival.

Here, collectors, players, and curious visitors meet in a shared experience where trading cards, community, and live events are at the centre.
