Event rules

• Glitched reserves the right to change the rules at any time, so stay tuned via http://glitched.se/gd26/eventrules.
• The latest published version always applies.

• Glitched is open to all ages.
• Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a completed and signed parental consent form. The form must be presented on request by Glitched staff. Please use our form. Print, fill in and bring to the event.
• Some parts of the festival, such as tournaments and exhibitions, may contain material that is not suitable for all ages.
• Visitors under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

• All participants must follow instructions given by Glitched staff, police, fire brigade or other government officials, even if these instructions are contrary to Glitched's own rules.

• Glitched does not tolerate any form of harassment. Confirmed complaints will result in disciplinary action, including suspension from the event without refund.

• Drugs (including alcohol) are not allowed on Glitched. Persons who appear intoxicated will be refused entry. Smoking and the use of electronic cigarettes is prohibited indoors.

• You are not allowed to bring or possess items that could be dangerous or could harm yourself or others. Examples of prohibited items:
  • Weapons
  • Knives
  • Multi-tools with blades
  • Firearms or other objects that fire projectiles
  • Fireworks
  • Gas cylinders or chemicals

• ONE PERSON PER TICKET
  • Each LAN seat is valid for one (1) person with one device (computer, console, etc.). The ticket includes a table seat, a chair and access to the event during opening hours.
• It is not allowed to build your own tables or extend existing tables.
• You must not modify or tamper with the Glitched equipment.

RULES FOR TICKETS OTHER THAN LAN TICKETS

• One person per ticket. This applies to all types of tickets, such as parental passes.
  • By buying a ticket for each one, you are helping to make Glitched possible, thank you! 🙏

• We do not offer ticket refunds.
• MEDICAL REASONS: If you are unable to attend due to medical reasons and can provide a medical certificate, we will refund your ticket. Please contact our support team by email with your medical certificate, see "Contact us".
• CANCELLED EVENT: If the event is cancelled, it will be moved to a later date. Table and chair reservations are non-refundable and valid for the new date.
• POWER CUTS: Power cuts do not entitle you to a refund.
• CANCELLED CONTENT: Cancelled or delayed tournaments, competitions or other activities are not eligible for a refund.
• LIABILITY: Glitched is not liable for any financial loss in connection with the event, directly or indirectly.

• Participation is at your own risk.
• Guardians of participants under the age of 18 must provide a written and signed authorisation. This confirms that you are aware and fully understand that your child is participating at their own risk. 
  • Feel free to use our form. Print, fill in and bring to the event.

• You are responsible for your personal belongings and equipment. Do not leave valuables unattended!
• Do not store belongings in the aisles.

• Each registered user is responsible for ensuring that contact details are correctly filled in.

• Network disruptions are not eligible for a refund.
• It is not allowed to connect your own WLAN (WiFi) equipment to the Glitched network.
• Glitched reserves the right to disconnect your computer (or other device) from the network if it causes problems, such as viruses or attacks.
• We recommend that all participants protect their devices against viruses and spyware.

• Be aware that power cuts may occur.
• Use only your assigned power source/outlet. It is not allowed to take power from other junction boxes.
• You will need to bring your own junction box to cover your needs.

• Keep your place and surroundings clean.
• Use the recycling centres.
• Please take all rubbish and waste from your location and place in the correct bin. Many thanks! 🙏

• You are not allowed to bring your own armchair or sofa.

• It is not allowed to sleep under the tables or in the aisles. We provide a large dormitory and camping as an option. 

• Glitched is meant to be a lively festival full of fun activities and surprises, so expect high noise levels at times and in some places. Bring some form of hearing protection, noise-cancelling headphones or similar if you are sensitive to noise.
• Respect that those who choose to sit in quieter areas will want a lower ambient noise level.
• In the dormitories, we do our utmost not to disturb those who need to sleep.
  • For many people, getting a good night's sleep can be crucial to the success of an event - and life-changing for the person driving home afterwards!
  • Use vibrating alarms instead of loud beeps.

• Follow the rules, be careful and eat and sleep properly. Make sure you get a full night's sleep every day.
• Drink plenty of plain water. It is not uncommon for LAN participants to experience headaches or dizziness due to dehydration. 
• Take regular breaks and leave your screen behind for a while. There are plenty of activities to explore both indoors and outdoors.
• If you need to take your medication regularly, use a reminder app on your mobile phone so you don't miss your prescribed dose.

• Do not handle flammable materials or liquids at or near electrical substations.
• Use only authorised electrical equipment.
• No heating appliances (e.g. coffee makers, microwaves, kettles), candles or similar are allowed indoors.
• Lamps and spotlights can also give off a lot of heat. These must not be covered with any kind of combustible material.
• Bicycles, skateboards etc. are not allowed indoors.
• No portable PA equipment or large speakers are allowed.
• The use of laser pointers is prohibited.
• The operation of drones is not authorised in the area.
• You are responsible for all your belongings. Never leave valuable items unattended.
• If you are driving home from the event, get plenty of sleep beforehand.
• If you have a major accident or serious medical condition, seek qualified medical attention. Feel free to ask Glitched staff for help, but remember that most of our officials are not medical professionals.

• SALES: All sales require authorisation from Glitched, with the exception of occasional private second-hand sales of single personal belongings.
• ADVERTISING: Any exposure of advertising or dissemination of promotional material to festival participants or partners requires the authorisation of Glitched.

• By participating in the event, you authorise Glitched and partners to photograph, film and record you. Images may be published on our website or social channels to publicise the event. If you have any objections to a publication, please contact gdpr [at] glitcheds domain.
