Glitched 2026 takes the next step in the fight against AFK – quite literally.
For this year's festival, we can now reveal that we are installing LAN chair detectors throughout the entire LAN area. The system is designed to keep energy levels up and ensure that the district competition continues around the clock.
Here's how it works:
If a participant remains still (or asleep…) for more than two hours, the system will activate automatically. The chair will then recline and a carefully selected A hardstyle track is playing. to wake up the player and get them back in the game.
“We've seen that many are trying to push through the whole weekend without a break. This is our way of… helping out,” says a somewhat too satisfied project manager Gustav Karlsson.

Som många vet är Glitcheds LAN öppet dygnet runt och kampen mellan distrikten pågår konstant. Varje minut räknas, och att sova på fel plats kan nu få konsekvenser.

The system is currently being tested and will be fully implemented by the start of the festival.
