Build, compete and take your LAN rig to the next level
At LAN, the computers and visitors“ LAN shelves have always been part of the experience. Creative designs, cool lighting, and bold paintings make people stop and ask: ”How did you build that?"
Now we're taking it to the next level. During Glitched 2026 we're launching a brand new competition to find the best looking, smartest and most creative self-built LAN shelf at the festival.
Have you built something that maxes out the surface, lifts the screen perfectly or just looks brutally stylish? Then it's time to show it off. We'll be awarding prizes in three different categories, with the most prestigious being the best shelf based on function and design.
Prizes for three winners of each category
👉 Best LAN shelf: 2000 SEK gift voucher at Byggmax and LAN ticket to Glitched 2027
👉 Award for function: 1000 SEK gift voucher at Byggmax and LAN ticket to Glitched 2027
👉 Award for design: 1000 SEK gift voucher at ByggMax and LAN ticket to Glitched 2027
How to participate
We are now opening the registration. Register where in the LAN you will be sitting and that you want to participate in the competition. The jury will scrutinise the designs right out in the LAN at the event!

Deadline for registration
The deadline to register your participation is Saturday 13 June at 12:00 and the winners will be presented on the Mainstage in front of the whole audience.
The jury will assess, among other things:
- Function and stability
- Creativity and design
- Overall impression
Important to consider: All constructions must be secure and fit within your LAN space (Regular space is 90 x 70 cm. Wide space is 120 x 70 cm).
We know that some of Sweden's best LAN builders will be on site and this is a competition for anyone who loves to build, improve and make their setup unique.
The competition is a celebration of the DIY spirit that drives the LAN community forward. Are you ready to build for glory, prizes and a place in Glitched history?
Good luck to you!
