Saab, the leading defence and security company, is returning to the Glitched gaming festival to be held at Elmia in Jönköping, Sweden, 12-15 June 2026. After a successful participation in the inaugural year, Saab is continuing its involvement in the festival with a range of activities for visitors.
During Glitched 2026, Saab will be present in the expo area with its own stand where visitors will have the opportunity to meet company employees, try out Saab's technologies and discover the career opportunities available to technology enthusiasts.
Saab Live Training
One of the most popular activities from last year Saab Live Training - is also making a comeback. The outdoor-based activation gave festival-goers the opportunity to try out elements inspired by real-life training situations and quickly became a crowd favourite. For 2026, the concept will be expanded with more elements and more space.
Saab will also participate in the festival's competitions with its own esports teams consisting of the company's employees. By allowing employees to compete in various tournaments, Saab wants to showcase the strong gaming culture that exists within the company and create a natural meeting place between gamers and engineers.
”Gaming is a great passion for many of our employees and Glitched is a great place to meet thousands of gamers and technology enthusiasts. We look forward to being back and continuing to show that Saab is a company where technology, innovation and gaming can meet,” says Joakim Alhbin, Head of Saab's Training and Simulation business unit.
Nicklas Andersson, Partner Manager of Glitched, is looking forward to welcoming Saab back to the festival:
”We are delighted that Saab is returning to Glitched. Their activations quickly became some of the most appreciated elements of the festival last year, not least Saab Live Training. The fact that they are also bringing their own esports teams means that visitors get to meet Saab in both a personal and fun way.”
Glitched gathers thousands of gamers from all over Sweden every year for four days filled with LAN, tournaments, expo, stage programmes and activities.
